Dragonhorn Mines

As the southernmost of Ekrund's outlying mines, the Dragonhorn mines were nonetheless quite profitable, hiding veins of gold ore beneath the soft stone plains which dominate the landscape. The dwarves were quick to set up mines here after the road from Bar Bolg was opened, and constructed Mingol Dwe to stand watch over the rich mines.

The mines were in full production when the greenskins came. The greenskins initially mostly ignored the mines, instead focussing their attack on the brave defenders of Mingol Dwe, where the fighting was best. This gave the miners some time to reach Bar Bolg, leaving behind most of their equipment as wolf riders hounded them. No doubt there are still valuables to be found here...
