Sir Tristan du Valle
This minor noble has recently lost his sister to an unknown assassin. Wrecked by guilt and anger, he has been tracking down the murderer ever since. He is willing to pay for any information that leads to the killer or his employer, although he suspects that it was his time-old rival, Theodore Chatin, who is responsible for paying the murderer- such things are right up his alley, after all. Unfortunately there is no proof, and Tristan is smart enough not to launch an attack at a fellow noble without the evidence to back it up.

Sir Theodore Chatin
Running a large butcher's guild, Theodore is a wealthy noble of Nez who seeks to increase his power over the city. To him, under what government the city falls is not important, as long as he is a part of that government. However, he is still a noble, and must therefore thread carefully, especially with that pesky Tristan du Valle constantly watching him.

Luc
The mysterious stranger Luc is a strange sight indeed. An old, perpetually smiling man with soft grey eyes, Luc is a wealth of information who seems to have a predetermined plan for the city. His knowledge of the aristocracy is especially impressive, and he shares his knowledge with anyone willing to do him a little favour in return. Luc is well-connected; if you need to find anyone in Nez, he is to guy to go to.

Grish Toebita
The goblin merchant Toebita is the king of the (admittedly small) underworld of Nez. He has run a business with both goblin and skaven employees, and the fact that none of his employers have been able to take his place for twelve years is saying something. Grish is known to be able to procure anything, and get it to anyone, for a price. He sides with whomever pays him the most for his services, and his allegiances can change hourly, but he is a valuabe source of both goods and information to any would-be lord of Nez.

Warmonger
How he appeared here is not known. But it is said that Warmonger, herald of Khorne, appeared on the borders of Nez just before the first blades were drawn. Warmonger cares only for combat. He will send his daemons against the enemies of anyone who will simply dedicate their battle to Khorne, for the duration of that battle. However, a general dealing with this daemon is in danger of losing his soul to Khorne- even those who have already given their souls to another...
