Just read it. Will reread it. DS you are certainly a gifted writer! I'm amazed at how well you tied everything together and how satisfying the read was. Well worth the wait!

I take it that the 1.5 will be the adventurers looting the deep roads beneath Ekrund?

Maybe, maybe not...

(Yes)

Thanks, glad you liked the update! A very big (if not the biggest) part of it, however, was written by the players, which makes my job a lot easier! I kinda like the idea of having the players take part in writing the updates, kind makes it feel more like it is like their story, you know?

On the other hand, it makes me feel terribly lazy .

Currently working on the mechanics of the next campaign- completely different type of game requires a completely different engine!

Absolutely fantastic! Just finished reading through it and what a good job it is! I love the way everyone is tied in, their actions make a difference, but it's still wrapped up nicely in the in.

Hail king Durak! Ekrund lives!

Looking forward to the next adventure!

A great read! Really well written by everybody! It was nice how you managed to give everyone a little bit of the following story, although it's a pity what happened to Boss Dularg... It was also interesting to see what happened to Mag-Runt, well Magnir I should say, in the end. Interacting with him was one of my campaign highlights.

Great job DS, and thank you again for running a great campaign!

I fully expect Dularg to have a Spartacus moment and come rampaging back at the head of a new army. It's like game of thrones. Until you see the head on a pike, there's no guaranty their out of the picture.

Also I liked the joint/competitive Magnir special project. The way we were fighting for Magnir's future really got me interested. I was the main one interacting with him on the dwarf side, and it really got involved in our fluff.

Magnir was fun, wasn't he! I still think it's pretty amazing that he spoke to us at all, let alone helped us gain territory in the beginning of the game and even assassinated our figurehead for us! Initially we just wanted to try and get on his good side so you dwarves couldn't use him against us but as the campaign progressed we got more and more invested in him.

I was trying to control Magnir in the competitive project, have him turn to the dark side so to speak. If successful he would have pretended to be on your side but secretly sabotage your efforts for a few turns before joining us... But your fluff was way better than mine and I was pretty much broke by the end of the campaign so could only put 12 gold towards the project.

I added an element of luck to it whch could have been fun, depending on DS's roll he would have hated me, wandered off, died or joined us. Either DS rolled a one or, more likely, your project was better.

In any case the whole part with Magnir was a load of fun! My favourite part of the campaign.

P.S. Yeah, Dularg was a pretty fearsome boss and wouldn't go down easily...

Demonslayer, these were a great nine weeks. Thanks for putting this whole campaign together. On the hobby side, you inspired me to build a fortress. (Walls anyway. Gate and tower aren't done.) Writing background and planning, we all had a lot of fun.

Happy you guys liked it !

The reason I had Dularg shipped off to the fighting pits was because he actually asked me if that could be his fate, in a PM early May. Since the Waaagh! came in third, I thought it would be an interesting way to end their threat (for now) and finish the campaign that way.

So you see, I've really had very few original ideas during this whole thing .
